Local Food Truck to Participate in Framingham Food Truck Festival

  • September 27, 2012

The 2nd Annual Framingham Food Truck Festival is fast approaching and Natick-based Trolley Dogs and Wellesley-based Captain Marden’s Cod Squad will be two of about 20 trucks featured at the festival. Captain Marden’s Cod Squad is the latest addition to the well-known Captain Marden’s Seafood brand which began as a restaurant in 1945 on Linden Street in Wellesley in 1945 by Master Mariner Captain Roy Wilfred Marden. Since then, Captain Marden’s Seafood has grown to include a takeout shop, a top-of-the line frozen entrée brand, coast-to-coast shipping and, of course, a mobile food truck.

The Framingham Food Truck Festival will take place on Saturday, October 6th at Shoppers World from 11am-4pm. The festival will include live music, children’s activities, sampling tables and of course, a plethora of the area’s popular food trucks. Attendees will be able to buy “taste tickets” to be used as currency: $13 for 10 tickets or $25 for 20 tickets. There is no additional entrance fee.
