Natick Community Comes Together to Serve Seniors Dinner

The Kennedy Senior Center had a packed house with 175 seniors for the Council on Aging's annual holiday dinner.

Volunteers showed up to serve, cook and cleanup for these elders. They included police, firefighters, town employees, selectmen, School Committee members, state Reps. David Linsky and Alice Peisch.

After dinner, the Goldenaires, a 26-person senior chorus, serendaded those gathered.

Whitney Place Assisted Living Residences has donated turkeys to the event for 10 years.

Other donors included Bacon Street Farm, Roche Brothers, Fay DeAvignon, Mary Ann Morse Nursing Home, MetroWest Medical Center, Middlesex Savings Bank, Natick Boy and Girl Scout troops, Shaw's Supermarket, Taylor Rental in Framingham, Windy-Lo Nursery, Courtyard by Marriot, Framingham Bakery, Panera Bread and Stop & Shop.
