5 Local Places to Prepare Your Taxes Early
Tax preparation help is available at the Natick Senior Center, H&R Block and several private firms.
The deadline to complete your taxes has been extended to April 17 this year, but help is already available in town if you want to check the task off your "To Do" list early. The following are five places in town that can assist you if you don't wish to handle the stress by yourself.
1. The Natick Senior Center will have IRS-trained and AARP-certified tax experts to volunteer their help to the community. The experts can help residents file state and federal taxes for free by appointment only. For those who are are infermed or disabled, visits can be made to their homes. Call 508-647-6540 to schedule an appointment.
2. Located in the corner of Sears in the Natick Mall, H&R Block offers help with filing taxes. Appointments can be made with an expert of your choice based on your needs. H&R Block is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Appointments can be made Online or by calling 508-653-8011.
3. Natick-based CPA and Personal Financial Specialist Jason A. Cooper offers his tax and accounting expertise to individuals and small businesses.
