5 Things: Scarecrow Contest to Benefit Bacon Library
You may have seen the scarecrows outside the Bacon Library. Here is some info on how you can make your own.
1. Are you interested in making a scarecrow this fall? The Charles River Coffeehouse is sponsoring its third annual Scarecrow Contest to benefit the Bacon Free Library. More details on how to register can be found here.
2. The Senior Center will host SHINE today, an event that hopes to bring advice on health care options to seniors. Certified volunteers will be at the center at 1:30 p.m. Call 1-508-647-6540 to make an appointment
3. Babies can't talk, but that doesn't mean they can't communicate. A class hosted at Gardengate Academy will give you a chance to teach your infant sign language so they can better communicate with you. The event starts at 10 a.m.
4. The Natick Cooperative Playgroup, an local nonprofit, wants to help you foster a social environment for your child. They will host a play session at 9:30 a.m. today where kids can interact and eat snacks. The event is hosted at the First Baptist Church.
