Natick High School graduation has changed, our Mother's Day poll is open and Meditation Monday returns.

Our daily morning column, 5 Things You Need to Know, provides you with information that can help you plan your day and give you some fodder for water cooler conversations.

1. The Natick High School principal announced in an email to students and families over that the weekend that the time of the June 3 senior graduation will be changed from 2 p.m. to noon. Temperatures on June 3 may be hot and the turf field may make the weather uncomfortable later in the day.

2. Mother's Day is coming up May 13, so if you're planning something special for your Mom it might be time to start considering your options. Vote for the best way to celebrate Mother's Day this year in our poll, which is open until 9 a.m. Friday. The winning place to celebrate with your moms will be revealed noon on Friday.

3. After the weekend, it can be difficult to ease into the work week without stress. Every Monday through May 28 at 7:30 p.m., stop by Meditation Mondays at Natick Village for an hour-long meditation class for $5.

4. Eighty-three students at Natick High School recently took the U.S. Treasury Department's National Financial Capability Challenge, featuring 40 questions about business and finance. Natick scored an average of 79 percent, with 31 students scoring in the top 20 percent nationwide. Noah Bastien and Tyler Linsky of Natick were two of the just 27 students in the state that earned perfect scores.
