5 Things You Need to Know Today: Feb. 27

The deadline is approaching to register and renew dog licenses.

 

1. The Natick Youth Cheerleaders "A Squad" visited the Massachusetts State House earlier this month to visit with Senators Karen Spilka and Richard Ross and Representatives David Linsky and Alice Peisch. The team earned first place in the Bay State Competition in October and fourth place at nationals in December.

2. Sel de la Terre now offers an extensive beer menu with more than 35 beers, both local and imported.

3. Tonight in town meetings: School Committee at 7:15 p.m., Board of Health at 7 p.m., Recycling Committee at 7 p.m., Zoning Board of Appeals at 7:30 p.m.

4. The Committee to Elect Joshua Ostroff will host a "Working Together for Natick" discussion at 5 p.m. at the Natick Hampton Inn.

5. The deadline to register for dog licenses is approaching. Those who do not register or renew within 30 days of the March 1 deadline could face up to a $100 fine.
