5 Things You Need to Know Today: July 10

Celebrate summer today by searching for fireflies while enjoying ice cream at the Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary.

1. Ice cream and fireflies are two sure indicators of summertime. Bring the kids down to the Mass Audubon's Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary to watch for fireflies, use a "bat detector" to search for bats all while enjoying ice cream. The event starts at 7:30 p.m. and costs $9.

2. The Morse Institute Library is hosting a glass painting course for teenagers today at 7 p.m. All supplies are provided and no registration is required.

3. Did you know there's a new cupcake shop in the Natick Mall? Check out our post with all the details and be sure to let us know how the cupcakes are once you've tried them.

4. It's wine Tuesday at Sel De La Terre where each attendee is treated to a selection of wines for tasting and rustic French cuisine. The event begins at 7 p.m. and costs $38 per person.

5. Do you have something to say about Natick? We want you to share with us. Become a Blogger on Natick Patch and have your voice heard.
