1. St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner and we're wondering where you prefer to celebrate in and around Natick. Take our Readers' Choice poll and let us know your favorites!

2. The Cultural Committee brought Olympic Gold Medal ice skater Kristi Yamaguchi to Lilja Elementary on Friday to meet with first and second graders and talk about her new book. Thanks to Mary Crotty for sending us photos from the event.

3. A spot is open on the town's Open Space Advisory Committee, after resident Pat Conaway's resignation. If you're interested in volunteering to be on the committee, send a letter of interest or the Online form found at NatickMA.gov to the Board of Selectmen, 13 East Central Street, Natick, MA 01760 send a fax to (508 647-6401) or e-mail Selectmen@natickma.org.

4. We'd love for you, yes YOU, to blog on Natick Patch. If you live or work in Natick, you can write a blog post to share on our site whenever you feel inspired. Email editor Alissa.Letkowski@patch.com for more information.

Come ask questions of the candidates. Bring your kids so they can learn about local government by watching student leaders.
