Alleged Frotteur Arrested After Food Court Assault

Police said the man rubbed up against a woman at an ATM.

A 34-year-old Boston man faces an indecent assault and battery charge after allegedly rubbing his genitals against a woman who was getting money from an ATM.

Police arrested Byron Harris, of Boston, at 7:31 p.m. Friday at , and charged him with indecent assault and battery on a person over 14.

According to Lt. Brian Lauzon, a 43-year-old woman was in the Food Court at the Friday night, using an ATM, when Harris approached her from behind.

"He came up behind her and began pressing his genitals (against her) several times," Lauzon said, referring to a police report of the incident.

The woman's husband was also there, Lauzon said.

The couple called police, and Harris was arrested at nearby P.F. Chang's.
