helped to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association during the 16th annual Ski Muster last month at Wachusett Mountian. The race, which included teams of five skiers each from all over the state, raised more than $10,000 for the MDA.

The event consisted of two separate races—a "midnight alarm" race during which racers are timed while dressing in their gear and then skiing down course, and a modified slalom hose race, during which participants carry a 50-foot-long fire hose while skiing.

The Natick team placed third overall. Pittsfield and Wellesley came in first and second, respectively.
