Help Homeless Veterans

Donate warm clothing to veterans in need.

The Williams family asked Natick Patch to announce a clothing collection. The event takes place Saturday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m., at the American Legion, 13 W. Central St., Natick.

The event honors the memory of Raymond Williams. According to his family, he was "a father to anyone who needed, a fathers' advice, he always offered guidance, or help to those in need. ... He treated friends, and family the same way, with respect."

The free event will include a meat raffle in addition to the clothing drive for hoeless veterans. Organizers are asking for new, warm items of clothing.
