Behind the lead of the Natick Hockey Alliance and many other volunteers, the Justin Bailey Benefit for the Bailey Family was a smashing success Friday night at the VFW in Natick.
More than 200 people stopped by the Natick Hockey Alliance event, whether they were involved with the Natick High School program or Comets program, or just wanted to lend their support. Others from surrounding communities were in attendance as well.
In a matter of a few days, the community donated many great silent auction items on which to bid and raffle prizes to win. All proceeds, including any donations from those walking through the door, went directly to the Justin Bailey Memorial Fund.
Some of the auction items included Boston Bruins tickets, Patriots/Broncos tickets, signed memorabilia, hockey sticks, hockey equipment, paintings and many other great items, all of which were donated.
There will also be a few more items up for bidding through a Silent Auction that will be available on the Natick High Hockey website this week. The featured items include a 16x20 picture (double-matted and framed) of the 2011 Stanley Cup Champion Boston Bruins, which all the players have signed. There will also be a signed hockey stick by the current 2012 Boston Bruins team.
If you are interested in bidding on one of these items please visit www.NatickHighHockey.com for more information.
