Rep. David Linsky Wins Re-election

Linsky has defeated William Callahan to win his eighth term in office.

David Linsky has won his eighth term as Natick and Sherborn's State Rep., defeating Republican challenger William Callahan, officials said Tuesday night.

"It was the work of 200 volunteers who knocked on doors, put up lawn signs... I'm gratified. Eight times the people of Natick, Sherborn and Millis have sent me to Beacon Hill to represent them and it's a complete honor to do that."

Linsky won 66.59 percent of Natick's vote to Callahan's 33.26 percent.

In Sherborn, Linsky took 1,477 votes to Callahan's 958.

"I know he [Callahan] knocked on a lot of doors and put in a lot of shoe leather. I also applaud him on running a clean campaign," Linsky said.

I would like to know how a person like Dave Linsky gets elected who did not pay taxes for two years, lives outside his district (Framingham) and settled out of court for owing back rent to his landlord????? He is a Lawyer as well?

"Good intentions will always be pleaded for every assumption of authority. It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions. There are men in all ages who mean to govern well, but they mean to govern. They promise to be good masters, but they mean to be masters."
