This pooch was having a rough day.
When you're a dog, it's hard enough to have one of those cones over your head; it limits your availability to scratch and keep up with personal hygiene. It's even tougher, though, when you find yourself lost in the middle of the road and can't see the cars that threaten to hit you. A dog in Holliston was reported to be in the middle of Route 16 this week, with a cone that "limited (its) vision."
Leave no evidence behind.
A man suspected of "lighting things on fire" late one night in Milford this week was reportedly seen getting into his getaway vehicle with "something burning in his hand." I likely would have put out the aflame object before I got into the car, but then again, I probably wouldn't be lighting things on fire, either.
That's one way to get back at a sibling.
I used to torment my little sister. It's just what older siblings do. At any point, she could have called the police on me, like this kid did on his 9-year-old brother, for being "mean." (I'm glad she didn't.)
Watch out for those boulders.
A driver called Northborough police one night this week, reporting that he/she struck a boulder when turning out of a business. A fire hydrant was damaged. I don't know what those two facts have to do with each other (maybe the boulder rolled over the fire hydrant?) but for the purposes of this column, I don't need to!
