Did you know that you can enter your own events and announcements? It's easy. Simply click on the news tab, then click announcements, new announcements and follow the directions. The same is true for events.

Worried that your listing will be missed? We've got you covered. Each week we post some of the announcements entered here so no one misses a thing. Here is this week's list:

1. Deadline for Sharks Tickets Approaching

Brown School Night at the Worcester Sharks is Sunday, Jan. 22. Our fourth grade class will be singing the National Anthem before the game. Tickets can be ordered in advance at a group rate. Deadline to order is Monday, Dec. 19. Order form and more details can be found on the Brown Elementary School virtual backpack.

2. Lacrosse 2012 Registration Open

The Natick Youth Lacrosse 2012 season is now open for boys and girls in grades 1 through 8. Register online at www.naticklacrosse.com to reserve a team spot. A $50 deposit is required. Visit our website for additional registration and season details.

Registration will close on Dec. 18 and teams will be submitted the first week of January. Registration could close sooner if the team limits are reached. Space is limited in both programs.

3. Buy a Bracelet. Support Fourth Graders

The fourth grade fundraising committee is selling Natick bracelets for $5. Kids are crazy for them, and they support a great cause. They are being sold in the Lilja Elementary School office and around town at Jones  Drug, Crazy Jayne's, Lola's, and Heads Up.  There is a limited supply, so get one now while they last!
