Patch Recalls This Week in Social Media

Tune in every Saturday to check out the latest in Natick social media, including updates from Twitter and Facebook.

Social media is becoming increasingly popular and increasingly relevant in today's culture and here at Natick Patch, it's one of the ways we keep you updated on what is happening in the community.

Every Saturday, we will be highlighting questions and comments that you've posed on Facebook and Twitter throughout the week and make suggestions for other great groups to follow in town.

This Week's Highlights:

So far, Natick Patch has 324 fans on Facebook  and 247 followers on Twitter, with numbers growing every day. Here are some highlights of what took place this week:

  • This week, we continued our Local Voices blog section on Natick Patch, featuring new blog posts including Jimmy Brown's memories from growing up in Natick and Tory Keith's real estate advice. If you would like to blog on Natick Patch, e-mail editor Alissa.Letkowski@patch.com.
  • One of our most re-tweeted stories was the Speen Street bridge possibly opening up to traffic this Friday. Although the construction will continue for a few more days, we kept our readers up to date.

Social Media Page Pick of the Week:

This week, we suggest you follow Natick Animal Clinic on Facebook. The page offers tips on how to keep your pets safe and healthy and features animals that are looking for a home.
