Poker Tournament to Raise Money for Natick Nonprofit

A Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament will raise money for Kids Connect.

Your exceptional poker face could help the youth of Natick this Saturday, March 19. A Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament at the Natick Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) will raise money for the local nonprofit, Kids Connect, which offers tutoring services to young Natick residents.

Registration for the event runs from noon to 4 p.m., when the first hand is dealt. The cost to buy in is $120, according to the Eastern Poker Tour website.

Kids Connect offers tutoring in math, language arts, Spanish, chemistry and physics to students in grades two through 12. Fees are determined on a sliding scale, based on need.

Natick VFW is located at 113 West Central St.
