Coffee giant Starbucks announced Tuesday that it will raise prices by 1 percent in many of their stores across the county, according to a report by Boston.com.

Price increases are expected for Boston, New York, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Dallas, Albuquerque, NM. and some Southern states, the report said.

After the increase, a tall cup of coffee will cost 10 cents more.
