Subcontractors Ordered to Pay for Natick Jobs

Pulte Homes subcontractors working in Eastern Massachusetts, including Natick, have been ordered by the state to pay fines and unpaid wages for allegedly failing to pay workers for jobs they completed.

Pulte Homes subcontractors working in Eastern Massachusetts, including Natick, have been ordered by the state to pay fines and unpaid wages for allegedly failing to pay workers for jobs they completed, according to a release from Attorney Gen. Martha Coakley's office.

Investigations through Coakley's office determined that the following subcontractors were in error after jobs in Natick:

  • Five Stars Construction and its president Alexandre Miranda, of Trumbull CT, allegedly owed $30,700 to two workers for framing work as a part of condominium construction in Natick. The company was also fined $30,000.
  • Nunes Brothers Construction and its president, Tiago Aguiar M. Nunes, of Brooklyn, NY, allegedly owed $99,086.75 to 28 workers for framing projects on single-family homes and condos in Natick, Braintree, Plymouth and Northbridge. $112,500 in fines were also ordered.
  • Two Brothers Construction and president, Wellington DeLima Borges, of Natick, allegedly owes six workers a total of $34,751.50 for framing work on a home in Plymouth.

Investigations reportedly also revealed that four companies that worked on the Pulte sites in Natick owed $35,692 to the Department of Unemployment Assistance for allegedly failing to pay unemployment taxes, according to the release.
