This new building on Route 135 will hold retail space. What does Natick lack or need more of that you'd like to see go here?

If you've driven down Route 135 in the past several months, you've probably noticed the new construction project going up next to the Natick Animal Clinic.

In our, "You Asked, Patch Answers" column last month, we let you know that this new building will have retail space on the first floor and offices on the second, according to Town Administrator Martha White. So far, it has not been determined what businesses will fill the space.

So, we're wondering, what would you like to see open in this building? What does Natick lack that you and your neighbors could use? Tell us in the comments section!

Something open 24/7!! Perhaps a good deli or a Mom and Pop home cooking place that serves breakfast 24/7. Something like Harry's up rte 9 in Worcester.

I'd rather see a bookstore cafe downtown. To survive, such a place needs to serve some folks who would otherwise go to Barnes & Noble/Starbucks. That part of West Central is too close, without any other major draw. If it was right next to the train station or something, maybe. Maybe I'm all wet on this, but I don't think so.

I was just thinking about this. A Finagle a Bagel (or a good independent shop) or a Wild Willy's (they have a current location in Needham). Sports pub would also be great. Could you forward these ideas to the real estate brokers? :)
