Town Hall hours that were altered in June will change again on Dec. 5.

This summer, the Board of Selectmen voted to extend hours on Mondays and cut Fridays short in order to offer more convenient hours for working residents, conserve energy and give a morale boost to employees without extra costs, according to town administrator Martha White.

In December, Town Hall will switch to extended hours on Thursdays to help encourage residents to make Thursday the day many visit Natick Center to eat at the restaurants, catch a show at TCAN and handle business at Town Hall.

The schedule will be as follows:

Monday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tuesday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Wednesday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Thursday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Friday: 8 .m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Department of Public Works, which also switched to an extended Monday schedule, will stick with Mondays.
