Social Media Saturday is a weekly feature where Natick Patch highlights some of what people shared on Facebook and other media in the past week.

We'll also point you to some new and interesting pages you may not have known about before.

Highlights of the Week

Natick Patch has 492 fans on Facebook. We also have 476 followers on Twitter. If you're a Natick resident with a Twitter account, look us up; we're @NatickPatch. Follow us and we'll follow you.

Here are some highlights of what took place this week:

  • Zia Day Spa & Salon used its Twitter account (@ZiaDaySpaSalon) to help solicit good reviews for the business on Patch. Natick Patch has (or should have) business listings for all businesses in town; if you see that one is missing, let us know. In the meantime, if you've been to Zia, rate it on Patch!
  • We've been regularly using social media to promote our Halloween contest, which will reward winners with donations to a charity of choice, and comes with a trip to NYC or LA to meet Heidi Klum, for the grand prize winner. The contest ends Monday, so, when you're having the kids try on their costumes this weekend, snap a photo for your chance to win!
  • If the amount of people who've been sharing our story about it on Facebook is any indication, today's Spooktacular Halloween festivities should be a hit. As of Friday afternoon, 17 people had shared the story.

Social Media Page of the Week

Today's nod of the week goes to @NatickPolice, the Twitter handle of the Natick Police Department. If you're a Natick resident who's on Twitter, follow @NatickPolice to help keep up with police-related news in town.
