Looks like the natural path for people to take from Newton Street under the interstate to the water. What makes it railroad murder ---nothing was done to keep people out or give them safe passage under/over the tracks or some signals.

BP: What you are saying makes no sense. The only place to go once one crosses the tracks is to cross the interstate on foot! Ridicules. This person had no business going on active and busy railroad tracks. No signs can stop stupidity or possibly the desire to take ones own life.

BP. That is what is wrong with this country. Blame everyone else. No self accountability. Railroads put gates on crossings and people drive around or through them. Railroads put up fences and people cut through them. These people knowingly trespass.

I-80 has a track overpass right by the end of Newton St. Thus under the interstate across the rail-locking tracks to the water. Pretty plain on Google maps.

Railroads have been running people down like dogs for 150 years and don't do NOTHING to prevent the killings which is MURDER---

The crossing signals the railroads rob the tax payers blind on in costs and stolen equipment off closed/reworked crossings. People drive around them because they are junk and close roads needlessly every time the wind shifts. These railroads KNOWINGLY murder people.

The world has lost a brilliant man, a loving husband and father, hopefully soon we'll have answers so that random strangers can stop speculating and being so insensitive.

I am so very sorry for the gentleman himself, and his loving family. May God rest his soul & bring his family some sort of comfort during this tragic time in their lives.
