Born in Natick on June 11, 1921, he was the son of the late Charles Mortimer and Helena Coleman Ahern. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Dorothy (Bennett) Ahern. Johnathan Summers “Jack” Kelly, 75, died June 18. Born in Boston, he worked as a computer specialist at Honeywell Corporation for most of his career. He was an avid camper, spending much of his retirement visiting the National Parks, and dedicated many years to the Boy Scouts as a parent and leader. He leaves behind his wife of 45 years, Carol, three sons and four grandchildren. William L. “Bill” O’Leary, 81, died June 15. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps at the age of 15, serving in the Pacific during WWII, and in Korea with the USAF. After his military service, he spent his career as a metal sheet worker. He leaves his wife of 56 years, Lois, and their 10 children and 17 grandchildren. He was buried with military honors on Monday in Glenwood Cemetery, South Natick. Mary E. (Coppinger) Zullo, 62, died June 9. A Natick resident for 42 years, she was known to Natick schoolchildren for her work in the food service department at several schools. Theresa E. “Terry” (Vickery) Hammel, age 85, died Thursday, April 26, 2012, at MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham, after a long illness. Born, raised and educated in Weymouth, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence G. and Florence (Morin) Vickery. She was married to Thomas I. Hammel on Dec. 12, 1948, and the couple settled in Natick.
