If you drove by Boston Scientific Friday morning you may have noticed fire trucks and police cars. But what were they doing there? It's a good thing you asked, because when you ask a question, Patch tries to get the answer. According to Natick Chief of Police James Hicks, there was a building under demolition and it came down onto some equipment. "They were strategically removing some beams when the building became unstable," Hicks said. "All parties were accounted for and there were no injuries." The scene was turned over to the Building Inspector. So there you have it. You asked... Patch …
Inquiring minds were asking: is trick or treating still on in Natick tonight? The answer is: yes. Natick does not have set trick-or-treating hours. Last week, a reader asked us if we have information on the recent increase in traffic on North Main Street. "It's been pretty bad lately. It's usually only like this around the holidays but now seems to be all the time," the reader said. Natick Police Lt. Brian Lauzon provided us with some answers to why traffic is getting worse in town. He said a recent drop in gas prices means people can afford to drive more. "People are venturing out more," Lauzon said. "We have very congested roads in Natick."
Recently, Natick Patch has been receiving several inquiries about the structure being built on West Central Street (Route 135) near the Natick VFW.
