DESCRIPTION:On Sunday May 6th 2012 at 11:30am-3:00pm there will be the an
 nual MetroWest Arthritis Walk beginning at the Natick Town Common. For 1
 0 years the MetroWest Arthritis Walk has helped raise awareness and fund
 s to support research and educational programming for those living with 
 arthritis. The Arthritis Walk is a family event that promotes walking as
  a health activity to maintain bone and joint health\, reduces stress\, 
 and enhances general well-being. Our goal is to bring together those liv
 ing with arthritis in the MetroWest area\, their families\, friends and 
 co-workers\, to provide a community of help and hope. We also seek to in
 crease public awareness about the disease\; a disease whose impact on th
 e quality of life is severely underestimated and can affect people of al
 l ages\, including children and young adults. In addition to the walk ro
 ute\, the event includes a post walk party with food\, entertainment\, c
 hildren&rsquo\;s activities\, awards and prizes\, exhibit booths and muc
 h more. The MetroWest Arthritis Walk is a &ldquo\;Welcome Wagger&rdquo\;
  event. That means that friendly dogs on leash are welcome to attend. Ar
 thritis affects one in every five adult dogs in the U.S. and is one of t
 he most common sources of chronic pain that veterinarians treat. There i
 s a 1 mile and 3 mile walk offered for participant to either walk or run
 \; both begin in the Natick Town Common and heads south on Route 27. For
