MICHAEL DORSEY, Ph.D, BCBA – Endicott College, Beverly, MA
Dr. Michael F. Dorsey earned his Ph.D. in psychology, with a specialization in applied behavior analysis, from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1979. Dr. Dorsey is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a licensed psychologist and Director of Clinical Services in the Mental Retardation Division of the Vinfen Corporation in Cambridge, Massachusetts and a Visiting Professor in the Masters of Education in Special Needs and Behavioral Studies in the Van Loan School of Graduate and Professional Studies at Endicott College. Dr. Dorsey is the Founding President of the Greater Boston Association for Behavior Analysis, now Massachusetts ABA. During his career, Dr. Dorsey has had the unique privilege to serve on the faculty of several prestigious universities and colleges including The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is an author/co-author of many professional publications, including participating in the development of the Functional Analysis/Assessment methodology. Currently Dr. Dorsey spends much of his professional time conducting Independent Educational Evaluations for parents and school districts.
