DESCRIPTION:Dear Friends of Natick Trails\,\na week (Mondays and Wednesda
 ys\, 10 am - 12 pm) volunteers gather at different trails and woodlands 
 in Natick to help maintain walking trails and adjacent woods\, streams\,
  and wetlands. &nbsp\;It's part of the Big Heart Little Feet Trail Buddi
 es Program. &nbsp\;We've been working on these beautiful trails for the 
 past two years and we're making steady progress\, thanks to a dedicated 
 corps of volunteers ("The BHLF Trail Buddies"). &nbsp\;We'd love to have
  you join us. &nbsp\;Contact Pat Conaway (508-740-9949) or bpconaway@gma
 il.com for more details. &nbsp\;We'll be going after the "resprout" of t
 he Japanese Knotweed in the understory along the banks of Pegan Brook. L
 ast year we made significant progress in this area. &nbsp\;I have severa
 l weed whackers (manual) that everyone can use. &nbsp\;If we knock it ba
 ck now before it goes to seed\, it will make a huge difference. &nbsp\;\
 n&nbsp\;Trail Work will continue this week&nbsp\;at Pegan Cove on Mon.\,
  5/21 and will resume the following Wed.\, 5/29 after Memorial Day Weeke
 nd. &nbsp\;We're skipping Wed.\, 5/23 because we're committed to the Dug
  Pond Clean-up Chapter 2 on Wed.\, 5/23 from 3 - 6 pm.&nbsp\; Although w
 e're making progress on the knotweed and garlic mustard\, we have quite 
 a bit left. Please join us. &nbsp\;And put this on your calendars as wel
 l: we will conduct&nbsp\;Special Trail Buddies Sessions\, June 4\, 6\, a
 nd 13\, during which we'll collaborate with Mathworks Corporation on a F
 isk Pond Clean-up\, 10 am - Noon. &nbsp\;Meet at the Middlesex Path Park
 ing area along Rte 135. &nbsp\;I will also make a special posting of thi
 s event on the PATCH. &nbsp\;There will not be Trail Buddies Trail Work 
 for 3 weeks while I'm on vacation in California. &nbsp\;We'll get back t
