College Students from Natick Earn Fall Term Honors

Here are 5 things to know today in Natick.

1. Phoebe Willett, daughter of Mr. Peter T. Willett of Natick, was named to the Fall Term 2013 Dean's List at Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, Conn.

Choate Rosemary Hall is an independent secondary school enrolling 865 boarding and day students from 40 states and D.C., and 40 countries.

2. Kaitlin Plachy, a Harding University senior from Natick, is among more than 1,200 Harding students included on the dean's list for grades achieved during the fall 2013 semester.

The dean's list is published each semester by Dr. Larry Long, University provost, honoring those who have achieved high scholarship. 

To be eligible, a student must carry 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average and no incompletes.

3. Yearbooks are now on sale. Make sure your child gets a copy of the yearbook to make their middle school memories last forever. Order forms can be found in the Virtual Backpack or in the main office!

Tuesday: Increasing clouds with afternoon and evening light snow.  Steadiest SE Mass.  Breezy and bitter. Upper teens.  A few inches of fluff are possible, with highest totals SE Mass, Cape and Islands. 

Wednesday: Bitterly cold. Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower to middle teens.  Wind chills near -20 in the morning day to -5 in the day. 

Thursday: Cold again, some light snow possible late-day or at night. Upper teens.
