Johnson School Students Raise More than $900 for UNICEF

Here are 5 things to know today in Natick.

1. Johnson School announced its fourth-graders raised more than $900 for UNICEF, surpassing its goal of $400.

This year students learned about where UNICEF money goes and how this simple act can help those most in need.

2. The Brown School Winter Bazaar is fast approaching. A class shopping schedule will be sent home this week and is on the VB. Volunteers are needed to help the kids shop. Contact Sheila Page atfinnpage@finnpage.com or sign up at http://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090C45A4AC29A57-holiday.

Donations are still being accepted. Please donate 21 small similar items for kids to buy at the Bazaar. These items can be handmade or store bought. 

3. The Natick Police Department and the Natick Service Council are working together once again to provide for dozens of Natick children in need this holiday season. 

Stop by the police department starting Nov. 28 and take a Wish List ornament from the tree. Each ornament represents one gift per child. When possible you will be provided with sizes, favorite colors and characters to help you with your shopping.

Gift drop-off deadline is Dec. 14.
