Kennedy Middle School Holding Yankee Candle Fundraiser

Here are 5 things to know today in Natick.

1. The KMS PTO is kicking off its fundraising events with Yankee Candle. Be on the lookout for the catalogs, which should be coming home with your KMS student at the end of this week. The event is scheduled to run from Sept. 16-27. Extra catalogs will be available in the office if needed. If you have any questions, email beth_baumann@verizon.net.

2. Due to the overwhelming response for wanting to play but having a date conflict, Memorial School and the PTO have postponed the Mustang Golf and Tennis Classic to a later date in the spring.

They will be looking to form a committee in the winter, sponsorship, and prize donations.

3. Volunteers are needed for Johnson School's Fall Fun Fair and Pizza Lunch. The PTO theme this year is to encourage everyone to help with just one small thing.

Can you give just 1 hour to:

  • setup
  • sell tickets
  • run the cake walk
  • monitor the bounce house
  • monitor the pony rides
  • serve pizza
  • clean up.

All volunteer shifts will be on the day of the Fun Fair, Sept. 28.

Contact Robin MacBlane if you want to volunteer at jrmacblane@verizon.com.
