Kennedy PTO Seeks to Fill Board Openings

Here are 5 things to know today in Natick.

1. With Kathleen Pickering's last year as a KMS parent and as PTO Chair quickly speeding by, the Kennedy PTO is looking to find at least two parents willing to step forward to join the Board as co-chair for next year.

If you think you might be interested, reach out to Kathleen for more at details.pto.kms@gmail.com

There is an additional opening for fundraising chair. Currently, Beth Baumann has been filling that role and she would like to pass the torch to a willing volunteer. Contact Beth for more details at pto.kms@gmail.com.

2. The Town of Natick is asking users, potential users and neighbors of the MBTA Station in Natick Center to weigh in with your concerns and priorities for a future rail station. Your views and suggestions matter!

The Town has funded a feasibility study to identify issues and propose solutions, including alternative station concepts to be proposed in the Spring of 2014, and to then assist the Town with funding proposals so that an improved station may some day become a reality.

This work is being done in cooperation with the MBTA Station Advisory Committee, established by the Board of Selectmen in January 2013. To learn more, please visit www.natickma.gov/mbta.
