Lecturer Talks Fantasy Themes as Part of Natick Reads

Plus, Construct Learning holds an open house.

Here are a few things you need to know right now in Natick:

  • The National Weather Service says there is the possibility for snow or rain showers in the morning and then the clouds will remain for the rest of the day, with highs in the high 30s. Overnight lows drop down into the mid-30s, with a 20 percent chance of rain. The sun returns tomorrow.
  • Construct Learning, a learning center for home-schooled teens, will hold an open house at the Gale House at 6:30 p.m. tonight for those who are looking for an alternative to traditional schooling.
  • Natick Reads events continue tonight at 7 p.m. at the Morse Institute Library with lecturer and professor Maria Tatar taking attendees on a historical journey of some of the themes discussed in Neil Gaiman’s books. The event is free.
  • Don’t forget, if you have something to say or have a picture to share, post it directly on the Patch site in the Speak Out section.
