Lilja School Fundraiser Scheduled for Oct. 8

Here are 5 things to know today in Natick.

1. Help raise money for the Lilja PTA and have a great dinner out on Restaurant Night. The first restaurant night of the year will be Oct. 8. Five Guys will help cater the event with the new frozen yogurt store, Orange Leaf. A portion of sales from the evening will be donated to Lilja. Refer to the flyers in the virtual backpack for full details.

2. The open door meal, sponsored by Kennedy Middle School, will be held on Oct. 17. Parents and students are encouraged to help out by volunteering or donating food. Donations of rolls, soup and dessert are still needed.

Menu: Pasta Dish, Rolls, Soup, Salad, Desert (cup cakes/brownies/cookies)

Time and Date:  October 17th (Thursday)  5pm to 6:30pm

3. Author and yoga instructor Sara DiVello will visit Bacon Free Library on, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. DiVello will sign copies of her new book, Where in the Om am I? One Woman's Journey from the Corporate World to the Yoga Mat. This event is free and open to the public.
