Town Will Pick Up Yard Waste Beginning in November

Here are 5 things to know today in Natick.

1. Residents can have their yard waste picked up at curbside in November and December.

Yard waste is considered grass, leaves, brush and branches.

The pickup schedules is dependent on trash day:

  • Tuesday will have yard waste collected on Nov. 11;
  • Wednesday will be on Nov. 18;
  • Thursday will be on Nov. 25;
  • Friday will be on Dec. 2.

Yard waste must be in paper biodegradable bags or in trash barrels clearly marked “Yard Waste.” Plastic bags will not be collected.

Residents can also drop off their yard waste at the composting area at the Recycling Center. They can pick up free compost at the center when available.
