Leave your Christmas tree on the tree lawn. This is the last week you can leave it out. (Pickup is the first two weeks of January.)
That strip of lawn between the street and the sidewalk: What do you call it?
It isn't consistent across the US, or even in the United Kingdom. My wife has lived here in Massachusetts her whole life and the only term she has used is "tree lawn."
