Over the past 30 years my husband and I have purchased, lived in and renovated multiple homes and a couple of second homes. We are serial home-buyers, not investors, but a couple with a passion for DIY projects and home improvement.
When my last post about the Better Business Bureau, Angie’s List and Yelp generated a lot of interest and feedback from our readers, it reminded me that through all the many moves, renovations, and redecorations, we have done business with a lot of very worthwhile people and companies, and perhaps I could do a better job of referring them.

Excellent at painting, tiling, light carpentry, and most of what you need to keep a house running and looking great. We’ve been working with Joe for over 10 years; he is our ‘go to’ guy for everything! He can come alone or bring a team and when he leaves the house will be cleaner than when he started!

Talented and reliable Dino Cedrone is a fantastic electrician. What impresses me the most is how neat he and his team are. When cutting holes for outlets or ceiling fixtures, they are always done right and tight, especially hard to do in older home (and with horse hair plaster!) but he gets them perfect every time!
