2013 Natick Artists Open Studios Weekend And FREE Related Events around Town

Mark your calendars for the annual Natick Artists Open Studios weekend event on Saturday, October 19th and Sunday October 20th from 12:00 to 5:00 pm.

This year, 70 local artists will open their studios – the largest number of participants to date.  Open to the public, this free self-guided art adventure is an incredible opportunity to meet painters, photographers, sculptors, potters, jewelers, glass artists, and other fine artists. The open studios range from busy downtown group studios on Main Street and Adams Street to the Town Hall to country barns to in-home cozy South Natick studios. For art-lovers, budding artists, and/or the general public, the impact of viewing orginal artworks within the artists’ creative spaces is an experience not to be missed.

The group is also hosting a number of free related events leading up to Open Studios Weekend:

This exhibit features original pieces by over 40 Natick Artists Open Studios participants, and includes photography, painting, printmaking, sculpture, mosaics, ceramics, glass, mixed media and more.

PIONEERING VOICES EXHIBIT

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of our rainbow welcome, First Congregational Church presents "Pioneering Voices," a photographic exhibit with interviews of transgender people, their partners and children.
