Natick Girls Scouts Come Out in Full Force to Help Plant Marathon Daffodils

On Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, more than 125 Natick Girls Scouts, ranging from Daisies to Ambassadors, and approximately 50 adult volunteers came out to plant daffodils at five different locations along the Boston Marathon route in Natick - the Natick Common, Police Station, Hogan Tire, Honey Dew Donuts, and Santander Bank.

Tracy Sivak, a leader of a Natick Cadette troop, organized this first ever Town wide Service Project for Natick Girl Scouts.  Working with Natick resident and environmentalist, Pat Conaway, this service project was initially suppose to be a trail cleanup and instead blossomed into this amazing project.
