Bookmobile Visit to Natick Labs Cancelled Due to Government Shutdown
Other planned visits in town are still on.
The government shutdown has forced the closure of the Natick Soldiers Systems Center, also known as the Natick Labs.
Because of the closure, the Natick Bookmobile Oct. 2 visit has been cancelled.
"All visits to the Labs are cancelled until further notice," said Rose Huling, the Morse Institute Library bookmobile coordinator. "Because the base is closed, we can't visit. But all other visits (in Natick) are still on."

Natick's Bookmobile visits the Natick Labs on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
On Thursdays, the bookmobile visits senior housing, assisted living facilities, and nursing homes.
