Winter Weather Advisory Remains in Effect in Natick

Natick police report just one accident so far this morning.

A combination of snow, sleet and freezing rain Monday morning has forced the National Weather Service to issue a winter weather advisory for the area, which includes Natick.

Residents can expect up to an inch of snow, along with a trace of ice, making for tricky driving conditions.

The wintry precipitation is expected to change over to all rain by the afternoon.

According to Natick Police Lt. Brian Grassey, just one accident was reported in town so far this morning.

Natick Public Schools opened on time.

A winter weather advisory is issued when light snow and/or ice is forecast.
