Update: Electrical Issues Hinder Firefighters on Pleasant St. South

Firefighters battled a reported electrical fire Monday in Natick.

Update: As of approximately 3:30 p.m., the fire at 28 Pleasant Street South has been extinguished. No residents were injured but officials would not comment on the health of emergency responders.
Firefighters from Wellesley, Wayland, Sherborne and Framingham responded to the scene of the fire.

Police and firefighters are on the scene of a fire at 28 Pleasant St. South.
Firefighters are waiting for NStar to shut off the power to house before they can to enter, a firefighter was overheard telling the homeowner. The fire is electrical in nature, the homeowner was told.
Neighbors stated they heard what sounded like an "explosion" associated with the incident.
