NATICK, Ma., (October 25, 2013) - The American Healthcare Association/National Center for Assisted Living, AHCA/NCAL, recently honored Lisa Kubiak, Executive Director of Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center in Natick, Ma., with a Bronze National Quality Award at their Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Ariz. on October 6, 2013.
The AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program offers a path for providers of long term care services to strive for performance excellence. The program is based on the core values and criteria of the Aldridge Performance Excellence Program.
The Quality Award program has three progressive levels which include Bronze, Silver and Gold. Each performance level includes increasingly challenging performance measures. Applications are judged by trained examiners who provide feedback on opportunities for improvement to encourage continuous learning. Facilities must achieve an award at each level to progress to the next level.
Bronze - Commitment to Quality recipients demonstrated their ability to implement a performance improvement system in addition to displaying their commitment to enriching the lives of their residents through improved quality care. Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center was one of 350 facilities to receive the Bronze level award this year.
“We are honored to receive this award and will continue to implement our improvement system. Our facility is committed to meeting the needs of each resident as an individual and our goal is to receive all three awards in the future,” stated Ms. Kubiak. For more information about the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program visit www.ahcancal.org.
