All of these phrases describe DIXIELAND, the music that was born in New Orleans before the turn of the 20th century—the music that floated up the Mississippi on the riverboats and took the country by storm.

Natick’s own David Polansky returns to us with his impressively talented band of New England’s finest interpreters of this “trad jazz” genre—they’ll play from the “greats” including Fats Waller, Irving   Berlin, Jimmy McHugh, Nick LaRocca, and many others, both famous and infamous.
