ASD Friendly Afternoons (free admission for pre-registered families)

Both Museums

During ASD (autism
spectrum disorder) Friendly Hours, we will not host school groups or birthday
parties, avoiding overcrowding and supporting accessibility of exhibits.
Participate in special sensory based activities open to everyone.  A dedicated room will be available to welcome
families with a child with an ASD to orient them to the campus and programs,
and provide a quiet space for children needing a break from the stimulation of
the museums. Pre-registration required, space limited. Visit http://bit.ly/ASDMar14 to register. Funded by
Yawkey Foundations, The Foundation for Metrowest, DCU for Kids, Morgan Stanley,
The Nathaniel and Elizabeth P. Stevens Foundation, The Adelard A. Roy and
Valdea Lea Roy Foundation, The Acton-Boxborough United Way Youth in
Philanthropy Program, and The Fenn School Youth in Philanthropy Program, a
program of the Foundation for MetroWest.
