Learn of a family’s remarkable
survival against unbelievable odds as Qais Akbar Omar, manager of a family
carpet business in Kabul, Afghanistan, tells the story of living through a
brutal civil war and Taliban rule from his memoir, A Fort of Nine Towers, which
