The Morse Institute Library’s annual Poetry Slam is fast approaching (April 3, 2014 at TCAN). Former English teacher, founder of Potato Hill Poetry and three time winner of the library’s slam contest Andrew Green will be at the library sharing his poetry writing expertise. If you would like help preparing for the competition or poetry writing tips in general, please join us in these poetry writing workshops. Bring a notebook for a writing exercise along with 12 copies of a poem you are working on. We will read and discuss it, make suggestions for revision, and practice reading it aloud.
