Watch out, Prince! It's never a good idea to annoy a scorceress!

A tale as old as time finds new and hilarious expression on the NDW stage!  A powerful sorceress is insulted by a selfish prince, so she curses him to become a "beast" until he learns to love. Years later, a poor widow plucks a forbidden rose from the grounds of the Beast’s castle, invoking his fearsome wrath. Though he sentences the woman to death, Beast allows her some time to say good-bye to her family.

Back at the widow’s farm, we meet her distasteful older daughters and greedy sons-in-law. They hear her "insane" story and don’t believe a word. But her youngest daughter, Beauty, goes to the Beast and promises her freedom
in return for her mother’s life. With Beauty remaining in the castle with him, Beast falls in love with her. She is like a princess to him. But could Beauty ever love Beast?  Meanwhile, the sneaky sons-in-law slink into the eerie castle hoping to steal treasure. In a thrilling and fun-filled scene, not only is there a battle with the Beast, but with the furniture, too!

What will happen to the Beast and his beloved Beauty?  Join us on a journey back in time to witness the antics of enchanted objects and the power of love!
