Passion and Thought in Song: A voice and guitar recital

Aaron Larget-Caplan, guitar and Betany Coffland, mezzo-soprano.

Acclaimed musicians, Coffland and Larget-Caplan come together for a song recital exploring French, Spanish, English and Chinese cultures.  Inspired by themes of love, loss and life, the artists perform music of three centuries including lute songs and a cantata by John Dowland, G.F. Handel, love songs and dances by Reynaldo Hahn and Maunuel De Falla and sounds of Eastern philosophies of Benjamin Britten's Song for the Chinese.

The concert is free and open to all.  Brought to you by the Natick Cultural Council and the Friends of the Morse Institute Library.  For more information contact Jane Finlay a jfinlay@minlib.net or 508-647-6526.
