Poetry Readings Celebrating National Poetry Month

April is National Poetry Month

The Morse Institute Library continues its poetry celebration with local poets  Carla Schwartz, Jaqui Morton and Ani Gjika reading from their newly published works.  Ms Schwartz 's new book, Mother, One More Thing, examines life with respect to nature and relationships.  Turning Cozy Dark is a collection of poems by Jacqui Morton providing unique perspectives on motherhood.  Albania born and raised, Ani Gjika's Bread on Running Waters follows Ani's life of immigration through many countries.  Discussion to follow the readings. Each poet will have copies of their books for purchase and signing.
